Scheduling Freestanding Training Programs

In recent years, the majority of my practice has been direct consulting. As a result, I don't publish an open list of available training dates. I let clients choose the dates, and then I just work them into the schedule.

What I do, is add up the total number of retained consulting hours committed for a month, including travel time, and that then dictates how many programs I can do. Once the training dates are firmly set, I then schedule consulting work around them.

As a rule, I can accommodate two freestanding training programs per month. The workshops can either be one day or two day sessions.

Though any days of the week are fine, to minimize impact on company operations, workshops are generally scheduled on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

The meeting room, two flipchart stands with full 50 sheet pads of paper, and a high stool of some kind (bad hip) are the only client furnished materials that are needed for the programs. Workbooks for the participants are included in the fee.

If you have a specific date, or a flexible timeframe in mind for training, please let me know. I generally need at least 60 days lead time to fit freestanding workshops into my schedule.
